Recovery and Results

After treatment, there is no recovery and downtime required. Results can several weeks to become noticeable as the nail grows out. Many patients will not require another fungus treatment, however, treatment cannot prevent reinfection.

There are some things you can do to prevent the formation of fungus after treatment. Make sure you are washing your hands and feet regularly and change your socks throughout the day. You should also clip the nails straight across and file the edges. When in pools or locker room, be sure to protect your feet with footwear.
